Mission
MeGive is the brainchild of Missy and Conor Quinlan. Missy and Conor always felt that used, old, or damaged computers and electronics could be put to better use, so they came up with MeGive, a not-for-profit project dedicated to redeploying and recycling computers and other tech gear in order to assist qualified families, businesses, and non-profits in Central PA. The project does 3 primary things:
- Recycles computers and other technology to prevent landfill waste and damage to the local environment.
- Refurbishes and redeploys salvageable or working equipment in order to donate items (or sell at a very low price) to qualified families, businesses, and non-profits in the community.
- Educates and promotes more energy efficient and cost conscious computing through seminars, an online blog, and continual recycling events.
