So clean out your closets, basements, garages, and do something for the environment and so that we can redeploy PCs and get them in the hands of those less fortunate who can really use a computer. We also hope to gather enough equipment so we can ready a laptop or two for 2 students going to college who need laptops.

The event is free. Yes no charge for any items! Take advantage of the chance to get some free coffee and donuts and make a difference in your community.

We will accept

MeGive is Working

We are excited to report that the recycling event on Saturday was a huge success.  We were able to recycle a lot of old equipment for people as well as acquire 10 – 15 good, working pcs and laptops that we will be able to refurbish and redeploy.  We also received some great printers and monitors.  Thank you to everyone who stopped by and dropped off “stuff.”  We truly had a wonderful day~

Last week, we placed a laptop and a printer  in the Selinsgrove area to a family of five.  A newly single mom who wants to return to school, who has four children, one of whom has learning disabilities, applied for a pc.  We were so excited to be able to provide her with a great laptop, a printer and even some ink!  Her family was so thrilled…and so were we!  We especially love getting computers in the hands of children who would otherwise not be able to acquire them because of financial reasons.

We have a lot of computers to redeploy, so if you know a deserving family or non-profit, please fill out the application form or forward our information to them, so they can do so!

MeGive Needs Used Laptop Donations!

March 4, 2010  |  Donations Needed  |  Comments Off

Laptops are far more convenient than desktops and thus many of our requests are for the portable solution. We welcome any and all laptop donations. Just because your laptop is 5 inches thick and from 1999 doesn’t mean that someone else may not find it useful. We will wipe out your personal data and provide a fresh installation on the computer that will be useful to many recipients. Please contact us today to donate your laptop and help someone else!
